Meet the team


Liza Esterhuyse

Liza is a dedicated Occupational Therapist and has extensive experience within the Peadiatric field.  She completed her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Intervention in 2011.  Within the past few years Liza has succesfully developed and run a few projects within the Kula Foundation listed under the Projects page.  She currently works for Cape Mental Health and will be supporting the Foundation within a consulating capacity.   She serves as the Chairperson of the Kula Foundation and has an integral role when it comes to decision making, governance and service requirements within the Foundation 


Chantel Griesel

Chantel is a registered Occupational Therapist and completed her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Intervention in 2009. Chantel has specialized in Peadiatrics and has succesfully managed and run her own Practice for 7 years.  She has supported the Foundation in an Adminstrative role, and is currently the Kula Foundation's service provider.  She has succesfully initiated the Boland farm school project at the beginning of 2013 along with the 'Leer and Leef' Training and FARR project in 2014 and is currently responsible for therapy coordination and administration.  She also serves as the Foundation's Vice Chair when it comes to decision making and general governance.

 

 

 

 

Sarette van den Heever

Sarette van den Heever is the treasurer of the Foundation and as trustee she provides strategic and business guidance. She holds a B Comm Actuarial Science degree and an MBA Cum Laude from the University of Stellenbosch. Over the past 9 years she has held various management positions in the financial services industry.  Currently, she is the Head of New Business Development at Old Mutual Wealth, a wealth management firm which she helped to establish over the past two years. Prior to this, she was the Executive Business Assistant to the CEO of financial services firm, Acsis. Here she was responsible for assisting the CEO with the implementation of strategy and projects in the firm. Before this, she was head of the Financial Services division at Louis Group International, where she started her career in 2005. Sarette is very passionate about the work of Kula Foundation.
